Appart'City Confort Agen Centre

We used this Appart'City to explore Agen and the region and got a studio for a very reasonable price considering it was August. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The kitchenette has enough equipment for basic needs and a microwave plus fridge too, the air-con is easy to use. The property is very central and close to a good indoor market and mini-market (and you can get replacement coffee pods here!) and only 10-minutes walk from the train station. Parking is limited but we were able to use it each time and it was half the cost of public parking. We had a good breakfast on the last day and the food served would suit all tastes. It's not luxurious but the Appart'City was a great base for a few days and would recommend if you are looking for lower-cost accommodation to explore the area from (best to book well in advance).

Location: Excellent location two minutes walk from the main pedestrian thoroughfare . Excellent Bakery 50m from the apartment block which does excellent filled baguettes and different types of bread. All 'must see' attractions and tourist office can be reached on foot. As well as the Canal du Midi. Train station 4 minutes walk. Many different types of restaurants close by. Parking: There are two types of paid private parking on offer. underground and outside, both are secure. Underground is more expensive. We booked outdoor but due to road works on the access road we had to use the underground parking - no extra charge. Room: not a huge room but good comfy bed and plenty of storage space. The bathroom was spotless with plenty of hot water. Also plenty of space around the washbasin and under it to store toiletries. Kitchen was fine. We only used the kettle and fridge. There is a small dishwasher, filter coffee machine and an espresso machine as well with extra capsules available at a cost from the reception.

At first there was a slight problem with the bedding arrangement but the staff were very obliging rectifying the situation. The apartments are in the centre of town, have bike storage facilities and are comfortable.It was an enjoyable stay.

Location, location, location! Staff are friendly and helpful.

The location is great, right in the Centre of the small town of Agen, and easy walking distance to the train station. They also have a private car park, greatly convenient, although very narrow street to get to.
